Draw a character

I recently started making videos so I was trying to draw a character which will look like me. I follow few other animation YouTubers who depict themselves in their character.

I trying drawing me in few different ways but no one was perfect. Actually I was making that character for some other video but I ended up making a video of drawing that character itself. All the methods I used to draw the character were not as I expected from that character.

So at the end I thought about drawing the character which I aspire to be. I mean, I never dared to have a full side cut but I always wanted it. So my character has it (it makes me draw it easily as well). I love small hairs but drawing my hairstyle would have been a disaster so I preferred a little long hair.

I am not the animator from childhood. I never liked drawing in my school but I like the way images are presented in a video so I liked animation. Thus I prefer animation over painting. If I was painting then I would have been the worst painter in the world.

So, I was saying that I am learning animation and drawing for animations by observing other animators. I observed that in animations facial part that is expressions are the most important though they are simple. Hence I have to draw head much bigger than the actual head compared to its ratio to body.

I posted my first video on previous Sunday but I never had any thought about posting video every Sunday or something like it. Few previous videos of mine came into my mind out of the blue in which I saw an artist drawing super saiyan Goku, Gohan etc so I just had a thought of posting a video of drawing a character. This was the easiest video of mine ever because what I just had to do is cut my numerous retakes of drawing in video editor and I love doing that stuff. At the end I fast forwarded the video and gave it music of mario in background and posted everywhere. This was a simplest video I have ever made.
